Hair Colour... While highlights will never go out of fashion, block colour is the key look for hair this season - but that doesn't mean it has to be boring. Brunettes – take your base a shade lighter, whilst adding caramels and honeys to brighten it up.
When you're a Blonde, there are many different ways to play with your colour without completely changing your base. This summer, blondes will add more butterscotch highlights for dimension, while still keeping their base medium blonde, rather than platinum.
For Redheads, it's all about being BOLD this season! It's time to brighten it up and play with your hair colour. Go lighter and brighter without being too dramatic...
Updos... Plaits and braids The perfect way to keep hair out of the way in the hopefully hot weather, whilst incorporating subtle, intricate detail and dressage elegance into your look. If you’re not feeling too competent with braiding techniques then try pre-plaited extensions or Alice Bands.

Sophisticated and sculptural 1940’s up-dos, adding that ladylike air to any attire. Weight is concentrated at the front of the head, whether it be piled-up curls or sleek symmetrical shapes, the idea is good old fashioned vintage styling.

Products Available at e-hair… At E-hairdressing Salon & Academy we use Tigi products; these include Catwalk, Bed Head and S-Factor. Whether you want funky street wear, or sophisticated and glamorous, we can accommodate your every need.

Look out for TIGI’s new Rockaholic range. Ask your stylist about our latest promotions for a great deal.
For the Guys… 2009 sees men’s hairstyles fall into two distinct categories: school boy and rocker. But while the rocker look is certainly a 20th Century creation, the resulting hairstyle finds its roots distinctly in 19th Century Britain.

And so it is in 2009; while the odd 2009 runway collection featured something akin to a grunge revival, the majority of us will live out 2009 with a refined, classically inspired haircut.
Sky-High Heels... Details are key. Whether its straps, chains, tassels or crystals, more is more for shoes this season, tribal references slip onto the shoes in python finishes, natural leathers and African motifs. Structured heels keep things interesting and the ankle is back - sheathed in ribbon, bows, bondage straps and structured panels.
Summer Brides... Diaphanous layers cascade down the body; floral details are in bloom at Dolce & Gabbana. Luxe, shimmering details give a modern bride something extra special.

Swimwear... Grab your hat, sunglasses, jacket, bag and heels - this season's swimwear is overloaded with accessories. One piece swimsuits look chic with clever cut outs and jackets make a pool-side appearance in the form of blazers, wrap coats and cropped trenches.

Sunglasses... Summer's sunglasses are big, bold and embellished frames. Round frames made an appearance on the Ralph Lauren catwalk. Size does matter: summer's coolest girls will be those wearing the biggest frames.
Colour... Complimentary colours Team colours from the same family together for a harmonious look - think bright pinks with vivid fuchsias, turquoise with royal blue whilst keeping warmer tones like orange and red together. Go for a neutral-toned shoe to keep it simple.

Mix it up Work regal purples in with contrasting, fiery oranges. Try lime green with melon or rosebud pink for a pleasantly jarring combination. Go to town on the look with a loud, contrasting shoe or handbag.
Denim... This season, where denim is concerned, anything goes. The hottest denim finish of the season is distressed, as seen at Diesel. Eighties silhouettes are coming through on the high street at Topshop. Wide leg or skinny - it's up to you!
The Boyfriend Jacket…
Last season it was all about the shrunken tux, however, for spring/summer 09, the boyfriend jacket looks set to reign supreme.
Jumpsuits… Your wardrobe simply won’t be complete without a jumpsuit or all-in-one for next season, from thigh-slashed, fluid and sexy to the 80’s versions, in pale-wash denim or covered in neon hearts – accessorised with the other season’s must have, the Bananarama inspired headscarf!
